The Linux Driver Project, a group of developers (lead by Novell developers) working with companies to create drivers for Linux, has created a list of their current project for anyone interested to see.

LinuxWorld has a video of a Novell developer talking about the Linux Driver Project, a project that is making drivers for hardware makers that want to have Linux support for free, at FreedomHEC 07. The video is a little long and gets very technical near the end, but I recommend you watch the first part, if you are interested.

2.6.22.3 Kernel Released

The 2.6.22.3 kernel was just released. You can see the announcement here. This is not a major release, but is supposed to provide some better laptop battery life, bugfixes, etc.
