		<description>I think they could embrace and extend ODF to some degree, if what we have seen with ISO branch stacking etc... is an indicator.

Don't forget MS was a member of the web consortium, but standards did not stop the IE web extensions from fragmenting browser market. They are still adding there own standards to  products like Sharepoint. So other browsers do not effectively work with it. MS is unlikely to play nice with ODF.</description>

However, I think it is possible that if Microsoft does adopt the ODF, then their next goal would be to incrementally create a Microsofted-version of ODF.
