I strongly disagree with you regarding Obama. It is not the job of the government to redistribute wealth, that is unconstitutional. It is not the job of the government to provide broadband access to every home, that would be unconstitutional. It is very disturbing to see people fawn over Obama regarding his "expertise" in constitutional law when he has absolutely no clue regarding the 2nd amendment. It is very disturbing to see people fawn over Obama regarding his "expertise" in constitutional law when he wants to "tinker" with the constitution so he can redistribute wealth via socialism, http://www.ajc.com/services/content/news/stories/2008/10/28/obamatape.html If you are going to defend Obama and claim that he doesn't want to redistribute wealth you're willfully ignorant of his statements. Obama has stated plainly that he wants to "spread the wealth." That is not putting the constitution back the way it was and quite frankly the President lacks the authority to alter the constitution in any way. To say otherwise demonstrates a complete ignorance of civics. As far as foreign policy goes it is not the job of the President to convince the world to like us. If your foreign policy goal is to get people to like us then you are an idiot and have no business being commander-in-chief. Obama has no concept of energy, period. Given the number of grossly ignorant comments fawning over Obama and the complete ignorance of civics, I can only conclude that the department of education created by James Earl Carter has failed miserably.

Okay, I guess I agree with you for voting for B. Obama. But I get the feeling that despite all the angst about computer skills, the ignorance about math and science, the economy, Iraq, immigration, taxes, etc. the real issue that wasn't even brought up is this: our US Constitution is being trashed bit by bit by the present administration. That simply has to stop-- the Constitution has to be put back essentially the way it was before Pres. Bush started tinkering with it. Mr. Obama is an expert in constitutional law so that for me makes my vote for Obama.

How anyone thinks she is intelligent is beyond me.

Great work and I agree 100%. The Sarah Palin effect is also a big weakness in my opinion. Go Obama!

From an outsiders (UK) point of view, its seems a big shame that US politics (and legal system?) is such a circus. It kina makes it look cheap somehow. Maybe even shallow.......................

Wow, great post!
And there is at least an indirect connection to Linux. I believe that making broadband internet access cheaper and more widely available will accelerate the trend toward cloud computing, and this trend favors Linux, for reasons you have pointed out in earlier posts.
Keep up the good work!
