Though Ubuntu has made significant progress in combining various settings into one Appearance application, there are still many desktop customization choices spread out. It would be best if all of these could be combined into one.
A lot of people, myself included, see the need for a better way of changing your entire desktop theme. At least one small project has started to make this easier, but there is still no preinstalled way of changing your entire theme with a single click.
This is really more of a bug than an idea, but these sorts of things are important. It really is, at least at this point, little things like this that make an impression on new users.
When I woke up this morning, the only reason I wasn’t an hour off was that I happened to notice that my computer’s clock was set back. It would be great to see some sort of notification when you wake your computer in the morning to remind people of the change.
